5th Annual Phenomenal Women Speak

Annual Women’s History program, Saturday, March 9, at 3 p.m. Noted author, Haywood County native and cultural historian,  Cynthia Bond Hopson, will host and facilitate a panel of local trailblazers and leaders.

This is the fifth year for the program led by Bond Hopson. Her books on Haywood County include The Women of Haywood: Their Lives, Our Legacy, Wiggle Tales and Times of Challenge and Controversy.

Panelists will include: Minister Teresa Middlebrook, Mrs. Ida M. Coleman, Ms. Barbara Dedmon, Mrs. Emma R. Delk, Mrs. Patricia Thomas, and Mrs. Brooke McCain.

The program will conclude with questions from the audience and Bond Hopson will be available to sign copies of her books. This is a free program and the public is invited.
